Life Hurts

life hurts on so many degrees from a little annoyance and unsatisfied needs some of our hurts bring us to our knee's love and death are so hard to please we give so much in invested trust to fate and those we love these connections to our perfections may one day cost too much it's not what we'd give but what we lived with someone special someone that's there and cared no matter what the hassle our use is proof and not miss use to ever be misstaken but grief is who we meet when our happiness is taken

Heartwrenching and sad..Just remember..life is like a rose with petals and thorns..The petals are the tender of our heart..moments of being happy..The thorns are moments when we re in grief..but they re there to make us strong..Hope you re ok nw John..and tnks for stopping by my poem..Im not into voodoo and never will be..You know i believe in God..That poem was inspired by a doxumentary i saw.I compared myself to a voodoo doll..in the sense of pain in life as if someone inserts pins and needles

John; This very beautifully written. The title is perfect.Love and death are so hard to please, but grief is who we meet when our happiness is taken. Those were perfect lines. Thanks for sharing and also for your comment on my poem. I will read another one of your poems...... Lucilla

This is an awesome poem. You have some grammatical errors here and there, but they do not detract from its beauty. You are expressing a universal sentiment, which I always appreciate. And I'm a bit jealous that I didn't write some of these verses. This site is full of truly talented people. Great poem and wonderful read. Thanks for sharing!
