Life, My Friend

I kissed-- the pains. For years, I sought the ease of stopping this life. And today, I’ve had my moment in the shade of spring spell, when no one deeply press me in; at last, I could now see the other world, yet before you jump to conclusion the anger’s gone and will not lead me to where I wanted to be. I must take-- this chance to know that I’m loved. See, the love I always felt with you dares me to meet the eyes of morrow. Why can’t you do the same? Tell me, do you need extra smoke rings to dance with?
