Letting Go
I accidentally let one loose
That burst with colors of varied hues
Creating designs from beauty-clues
Brightly transforming frustration blues.
Awesome kaleidoscopic moment
Grasped me in a radiant engagement
With life’s reality-wonderment
“Letting-go” brings joyous amazement!
When viewed at another perspective
“Letting loose” means “You’re not attentive”
And judged as missing directive
Midst efforts to stay fully active.
The incident though an accident
Had taught me to become more prudent
…Those I hold tight with grip so ardent
May break me, leaving a deep hurt-dent.
I thank God, nothing slips from His hand
And He never needs a magic wand
He holds me within His love so grand
He protects my hair’s slightest strand.
Freed now from delusion, there’s bouncing
It’s actually letting go… pressing;
Thus, there was no loss, but a blessing
Since I learned great lesson… faith-bracing!
*1Peter 1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
