Thank you for sharing Jennifer. I trust you are on the mend. Could it be that there is fluid or inflammation in one eye? Just a random opinion as I've never had that done and am not an expert. But I do eye exercises every day and fluid draining gleaned from YouTube tutorials. Hugs Maria

Annie has had both eyes done now… I did suggest rose tinted lenses but the medics wouldn’t agree. I’m still not sure why she looked so startled when she looked at me with renewed clarity. Glad your op went well and hope your double double vision vision will will sort sort itself itself out out soon soon!!

Jennifer, glad it went well. We are so lucky we get to have a new lens and see well again. My wife has had both eyes done. I have to do it at some point, but I'm not ready yet. Really good luck with this and you'll be seeing great!! Smiles!!

Hope you are on the mend. My husband hated having it done. For some reason it was worse for him on one side than the other and he had to have anesthesia for the simple procedure. So funny

Gosh. I had mine done a few months ago and it was as easy as pie. I didn't even use their eye drops for the three weeks I was told to. I think having worn contacts all my life, I am used to things in my eyes. Do they do mono vision where you are? This means my left eye was corrected to see far but they kept my nearsightedness the same on my right eye . This allows me to see far and to also be able to read without glasses. I was wearing contacts this same way for years!

Looks as if this operation also gave you a knack for long, impressive phrases as well!! Hang in there. I hear the end outcomes of cataract surgery are amazingly good. ~ Gershon

This beautiful limerick poem is about the experience of having cataract surgery and the obstacles that come with it, specifically the irritation of seeing double and how it affects communication and daily duties. I wish you a swift recovery, Jennifer.
