Letter To My Future Self
Dear Me (after 30 years),
How are you after these many years?
Have you grown stronger through all your tears?
Have you finally found your help-meet?
With his love, does he make your heart beat?
Hope you have children, all grown up, yay!
Was it tough to raise them in God's way?
Do you still have the Lord as your Rock?
Cling only to Him, when others mock?
Do you still write poems as God leads?
Is it an outlet of your soul needs?
Are you still a member of PS?
Do you still worry, when under stress?
Does your heart still cry out in prayer?
Everything with God, do you still share?
Hope you have learnt a lot of lessons,
Understood better life's quintessence,
Overcome obstructive obstacles,
Won over fragile mind's tentacles;
You've lived this long through pressures and pain,
Wish God's blessings for years that remain!
