Let Us Start

Let us start with each other today Can we try to get along? Accept that we are equal on our way Greet each other with respectful song Refuse to let the hatred into our hearts Refuse to be part of division instilled I know we can do this, it is a start Just as each one of us has free will We have been warned by the decline We have been wounded from it all We have been given all the signs Written on blood stained streets and walls When the birds sing do you hear? When the sky fills with color do you see?
