Let Me Into Your Heart
Oh sweet sister, let me into your heart,
so that one day you can make a fresh start-
be all you can be with sincere admiration,
because you are nothing but a God-given creation.
For you I hold so much honor and appreciation.
Be the woman I have seen you to be,
be kind to yourself, loving and free-
fear not the wicked who judge you with shame,
for they know not your beauty nor your name,
Hold onto letting-go, not of worry and blame.
Oh sweet sister, why did you choose to die?
I remember all the times you’d suffer and cry-
if only I was in your heart, I’d take away the pain,
so that only fond memories of life remain.
Now my heart left empty…since you died in vain.
