When fret and worry Make you go amiss, Let your mind think Of the Lord God's promise. When dark shadows make You stay deep in the night, Let your eyes open To see the new dawn's light. When the million voices Are hard to comprehend, Let your ears hear the angel Whom God and Christ Jesus send. When anger and hate Take away the mirth, Let your heart feel The greatest love on earth. When you are lost And don't know what to do, Let your soul search For the path so right and true.
