“But the kind of love that God created and demonstrated is a costly one because it involves sacrifice and presence. It's a love that operates more like a sign language than being spoken outright.” ~ Bob Goff
Dew, glistening on the roses,
Whispers of joy, slipping over the petals,
Descending, as time proposes…
Cardinals, crimson wings sailing,
Against overcast skies, bluest heavens,
Subtle dreams stirred, hope unfailing…
Music, blessing the heart who hears,
Soft notes, melodies on the air I breath,
Silence fading as the joy mixes with tears….
Stars, glittering beyond the hills and trees,
Glowing beauties, soothing as a prayer,
Moonlight fades as I fall quietly, to my knees…
Seasons, changing as I bid the past goodbye,
Singing of tomorrow, when life comes calling,
Little wonders, miracles I can’t deny…
Life, a battle between the darkness and the light,
Will hearts complain or know sweet praises?
Listen closely to the harmony of love so bright…
Lessons flowing, gentling away the lost dreams,
When my soul was aching for the still,
Faded silence, touching lives with her screams…
Wisdom, praying for the grace to let go,
Discovering the tune of everlasting,
As His presence pours out through love’s flow…
Never forget, friend, when all is said and done,
He is the gentle grace who ignites the sun,
He is love… because of Him, the battle is already won!
