Lessons From a Squirrel
Looking at the squirrels playing happily on a pretty spring day made me smile.
They were playing tag thru fresh cut green grass.
They were so joyful that I wanted to join them.
So I was silly enough to ask in my imagination.
Do you know what they said?
"Only after you work hard." said one squirrel.
The other squirrels nodded in agreement.
Back out of my daydream the lesson was learned.
"Work first, then play."
