Lay With Me

Now I lay me down to sleep; right behind my death will creep. When you lay me in the ground, amongst my body these things shall be found. The fist of the one who took my identity. The tongue from the one who lied to me. Place the eyes of the one who took notice first; and the manhood of the rapist he was the worst. They say a parents love is unconditional, but I say that it's situational. So be gentle with the heart of my mother who didn't care; And hold steadfast the feet of the father whom was never there. The uncle playing too friendly a game of horsey, in all fairness I will take with me that knee. One thing I'll leave instead of take with me, my sisters eyes so she can finally see. How all these things became to be, what actually was the death of me. The fatal dose of drugs you see, was to finally end your constant judgment of me.
