Laugh-Out-Loud

Always find things to laugh about,
Laughing makes us stress free,
Nice things are not always, the first that we see,
So lots of time,we tap into great memories,
Remember when you fell from your bike or a tree,
Got bit by a bee or bullied by Tommy,
Running to the house, screaming daddy or mommy,
Sorry my child,a comforting hug,
Soothing the pain,with parents love,
They ruffled your hair a pat on the back,
Got it dressed and then a snack,
Now smile or laugh at the thought,
How sad things of the past, now makes us laugh.....

An excellent point to ponder my friend. Those things that were so emotional then, we can now look back at and laugh. That's the stuff memories are really made of. Keep up the good work and pay attention to anything Debbie tells you.

thanks for inviting me to comment on your poem, you should have commented a little more subtly lol I am not THAT old. something like, " I am in need of a more refined opinion on my work" or The taste of a fine aged wine would greatly help in an opinion on a poem I am working on." Now doesn't that sound lovely lol Just teasing, the poem is very well penned .

Such a good idea for a write!! This is the rhyme pattern you have [about/a, free/b, see/b, memories/b, tree/b, Tommy/b, Mommy/b, hug/c, love/d, back/e, snack/e, thought/f, laugh/g] you have an end rhyme pattern of [a,b,b,b,b,b,b,c,d,e,e,f,g] this is not the form Rhyme Royal which is [aba bb cc] or [abab bcc] let me know if you want to MAKE it Rhyme Royal and I will be glad to help ;) Thanks so much for stopping by my writes!Light & Love
