fall’s final blossoms
droop, wilting on my rose bush . . .
pine scent fills my house

Ah i can smell the scent of pine and the way this flows with such descriptive lines in few syllables is impressive, i think iv read before a didactic by brian that hiku is an american type of haiku? Where it follows certain flow. Hmm. Im not sure because my memory is really crap. Anyhow i loved this. Congratulations

We have had a lot of wilting this fall because of lack of rain. I am wondering if your area is dry also. I enjoyed reading this one so thanks for sharing. I notice you said you do not like prunes. Have you tried apricots? They are very nutritious and are a little tastier. I have a recipe for prune cake which is good that you might could make so you could get the prunes. yes, it's haiku but Brian likes the term hiku for some reason, so I call them hiku when I enter them in a contest for Brian

they are calling them hiku if they are in a contest for Brian. That is how Brian refers to them, and I try to do what the sponsor likes. I really do not know why he favors that name
