I remember when homes were, Made of brick and cement When service was on Sunday And La’Tasha would always sing, As I Reminiscence over the times, La’Tasha sang at Church Service I marveled the day I moved away It was many days before I had a home again, Six daylight savings and a leap year had passed I would say; When I made it back to service To hear La’Tasha sing Oh how she could sing The mothers in the front rows would bellow With their handkerchiefs Waving Amen. La’Tasha had a gift to Sing Amen and Amen Everyone agreed La’Tasha Could Sing
