Last Hurrah

pilfering raccoons
raiding cornfields and orchards
laughing at farmers
Indian summer picnicking
Last hurrah before winter

Dear Joyce, I was giggling thinking of the "pilfering raccoons" having the last laugh at farmers. I wish "Indian Summer" could last all year long. People have been asking me about Brian. We do hope his condition is improving and the prayers continue. Love you, Carolyn
