lanternes I'm not happy with
ahhh
keep me
held within
your loving arms
stay
tick
tick tock
time ticks on
so march with time
stop
whirls
whips swirls
confusion
the entangled
thoughts
still
settle
influence
never the same
lost
dreams
straddle
waking thoughts
half conscious state
lures
fish
like bait
in theory
but they regret
it
traps
ensnare
an essence
which is then lost
snap
gold
is not
silvery
if you ask me
thanks
moons
mentos
and pearls too
are different
things
blue
iris
black lashes
zero clashes
see
pens
make scrawls
scratch it down
remember these
words
leaf
through days
discover
self through the haze
there
