Landscape

The small forest is all scarlet Bushes and flowers inviting Depth of green inciting Sparrows emerge in delight On the right it sings on In its sinewy gurgling voice The blue and white vibrant brook Larks arrive in delight On the left the Apple garden Budding laughter in pink flowers Brook and apple are bosom friends Tufted titmouse moves in hope Above is a green hilltop Rhododendrons beckon the birds Clouds join in the game At night moon joins too This is my address now Whenever friends ask for location I mention this coloured landscape Van Gogh at the back of mind With the sparrows and house larks Very close to the dancing brook On the would be round apples I love to write my twilight poems _____________________________________ June 6 2017 NOT FOR CONTEST

I was just browsing some old poems by random, even with just the title I imaged a painting! Beautiful poem!

I can see it Probir. We have rhododendrons here as well. I even have a few in my garden. No wonder you are sitting outside at twilight.
