Ladies of the Soup
An amazing group of gorgeous ladies
Call Poetry Soup their 'getaway from reality' home
Where their fantasies take flight
Where the chores, the kiddies, the trials of the day
Are brushed aside for a while
Allowing their creative minds to soar
Forgetting the washing, the dishes, the endless meals
With creative thoughts, thoughts of love
A perfect match, a getaway to some romantic isle
With the man of their dreams
The most current 'hottie' in Hollywood
Or maybe even their husband
Don't get me wrong, we men of the Soup don't mind
As long as you sweet ladies allow us to have our turn
I wont't name my favourite ladies
But you surely know who you are
I'm not very good at hiding my affections
So all you ladies of the Soup
I hereby send you some passionate kisses
Some warm snuggly hugs
But most of all dear ladies of the Soup
I send you my overwhelming passionate love
For making my everyday a whole lot brighter
