La Joie De Vivre Picasso

Inspired by the painting La Joie de Vivre by Pablo Picasso Spontaneity and synchronicity Tacit simplicity No such thing as a bystander here Amazed at my capacity to switch gear Here, to be, is to be complete Tantalisingly aware of each heartbeat There I was, aged, thinking My world grey and shrinking I was too far along the path Too intricately involved with wrath Then, I'm immersed in colour and sound The hedonistic playground Swirling with the muse Movement beget movement to enthuse With the sun, the sand and the sea Dancing with me The striking beauty Here by will, not duty Centred again Cannot contain Expressive Excesses I nod to my friend for their inspiration Re-energised salvation Lost in the vibe Impossible to describe Once again alive

Picasso surely must have had fun painting this one. The bodies express such happiness. A true 'joy!' Enjoy! ~ Gershon

Haha I don't mind a bit of Picasso, I just tried to pick a jolly painting after my series I should have perhaps titled 'abject misery' haha
