L Killed the Snake - Part Two

Adam how can you say you loved me, then easily exile me from Eden Number 2, you marked the move I made, called it a disgrace secretly, you struck me with a lightning whip a picture that, striped my dignity down to it's nakedness should I run in shame again, fall to the ground ? have you cast stones every time you pass me by ? did I deserve this, after I offered you my true sweetness! A wetness I never revealed to anyone but you thank you for every special stroll under the moonlight Adam, as dysfunctoonal as it may seem, it takes two not one my heart for you, was coming from the true art of a beating drum you took my love and tossed it out the door, allowing Satan to win I myself allowed the trophy to sit on the wrong shelf, I'm tired of defending my life, preaching, and teaching, reaching for the right person to rescue me from the beatings I wish I could sit in front of you, look you straight in the eyes, so you can hear me say, never would I take a man like you for granted my sweet Adam, for you I cut my veins every night, in hopes I bleed till I die Tomorrow will be a different day, but the same heartbreak you say you are not running, yet you took a different direction well, here I am, expressing my mind and free will again never will I ask for another chance, I'm not up for rejection instead, I want you to know, I want you to be happy I will smile every time I see you, wondering, if you found the easy way out Forever in my heart, By Poet - Eve Menace
