Know-How

Things we think are obvious Some others may not get. If a question’s raised, There should be no cause for regret. Simple explanations help To clarify what’s meant. Often what’s interpreted Is far from the intent. How one states intentions Can cause discontent or pique, Not illumination, which is What the askers seek. Wording and inflection May change innocence to vice; And challenging one’s know-how May make questioners think twice.

Ahh! Once again we visit the interminable quest to be understood. It really is amazing how it so often is no good. We think we spoke susinctly, with no room for misconstruing. To just be taken the wrong way with somebody's undoing. I'm going to look up the word interminable. If it's wrong, I'm leaving it. :)

I had to read this one twice for the words to really sink in. Remind me to put my thinking cap on the next time I ask you a serious question! Ha ha... it's good to stand somewhere in between both sides, so as to lack bias towards one mode of thinking. An observant point of view makes for the most well thought out answers AND questions.
