Sara What a creative and unique write. The poor birdies frozen out of their birdbath. They need a little heater to defrost it. LOL Nicely done Thanks for the wonderful comment on my Sickness poem

see the frozen birdbath, and the poor birds seeking food and water. Good luck in the contest! Sara, thanks for the comment on This View. The seagulls don't have such difficult time here as the harbour doesn't freeze over in winter (located at the mouth of the Bay of Fundy ...salt water) so getting food and water not a problem. Sonnets the easiest to write? I would have thought the opposite!

You make a good point here about the birds need food and drink during frigid weather. Did you mean hoar frost?

A wonderful description of nature seen through your window. I don't know how the birds survive the cold weather, but somehow they manage, Sara. Beautifully written entry for Michael's contest and I wish you success! Love, Carolyn
