I agree Sara, and I believe kindness begins at home and if we treat our children and loved ones with kindness then it will be passed on through their own actions. hugs jan xx

Kindness is rare and is precious, i know you and bill are such kind souls, truly soulmates you are! And ofcourse kindness should be given to all, but sometimes unfortunately our own blood is unkind, its sad reality for many, and thats why like you’ve said “kindness comes from a deep understanding” you are such a sweet soul that spreads light on everyone, and you see the good in all! I always enjoy reading your poems!fav , iv missed reading your poems! They always lift me up as they are sincere

Yes today i saw a video circulating on twitter, an adult child beating her own old mother, my heart hurts. Sometimes even own children can be unkind, its so sad, the mother looked vulnerable. I wish and pray for better days. Where i dont have to see such videos, i literally cried seeing that.

your words touched me, dear Ink. I agree. Kindness is a rare commodity. We, too, unfortunately have some family members (not many, thankfully) that are unkind and a bit vengeful. I try to let that stuff from sinking in. I don't have to partate :-) Yes, Bill & I are soulmates...have been since the moment we met. We're fortunate.
