A beautiful poem Paul, yes adoption is a certain option and also a kind one. We wanted to adopt a baby when Elias and I got married (2nd marriage) both divorced and have a son each but thought of when the child was twenty and that we would be too old to enjoy him or her. Lovely words, Poetry hugs, Jennifer.

Adoption can be a blessing. Naturally, nothing can beat having your very own children. Indirectly, considering you have a step-child, you too have adopted. Thank you for your pleasant visit. Have a lovely weekend. Warm regards (+poetry hugs) paul

Thank you for the compliments, my friend:) We've had temperatures in the mid-30s, but luckily there is the sea close by and we make good use of it! During the day we keep curtains drawn to keep the sun/heat out...that's what my sister-in-law in England is now copying. Best regards // paul

We always remember how fortunate children are when they're adopted, but the adoptive parents share in the blessing. A lovely poem, Paul, and I enjoyed the creative way you used the title. Hugs, Carolyn

Thank you, Connie. And, yes, you are right...I know of some cases where pregnancy occurred after adoption, perhaps due to a calmer state of mind! Regards // paul
