This is what we see daily; the contrast of wanting to be compassionate, and yet, the killer instinct there at the same time.

So wise my friend. You should have been a teacher... your words are so clear and easy to understand... even for bugs... I speak several dialects.. I know... hugs... Ann

Ha, ha. I was a teacher for 30 years. Just retired 1/2 a year ago. Taught students from age 6 to 91, and from over 30 different countries (including the USA). What kind of dialects do you speak, Ann? Very interesting comment!! Cheers, Gershon

I was always intrigued by BUGS... I remember taking firefly's and putting their luminous glow on our nails, catching bees in bottles and hanging butterfly's on a thread off of my ceiling. I know, I was cruel...but I was a kid and learned my lesson after getting stung by a wasp...I guess I deserved that (lol) Nice write, Gershon. C.M.

Interesting! I had a kid in a 2nd grade class in 1991, who was fascinated by bugs. Couldn't get him to come in from recess, 'till one day I let him bring two bus into class. From that day on, I was his favorite teacher. :) At any rate, of course kids can be cruel in the 'State of Nature.' Rousseau was a dreamer! Locke had it right. Thanks for sharing your memorable boyhood experience, Charlie. Best always, Gershon

Thanks you so much, Eric. Very nice, what you wrote about me… And didn't I see your name atop the tongue-twister contest winners?! Congrats to you! :) Gershon
