Katrina
Her wind can sweep a man off his feet
Her eyes have strength behind them
her intentions cannot be controlled, but wondered
her name is sweet as apples
then browned and has no sugar behind her lips
you can never image the direction of her hips.
Which town she flows by at what place and time.
She appears to stay on your mind and can change lives
K to the kick in the face by government who takes their time
A to the Afro-Americans left with no home to go to
T to the tragedy of ones found floating in the streets
R to the remainings of dubris not planned to be picked up
I to the inmates who rapped and killed the innocent babies
N to the so called n-words who kill every young brotha seen
A to the almost so easy to believe this was planned from beginning
K-A-T-R-I-N-A Katrina yeah year of 2006. i never thought i would be living
to see this.
