Just Wondering

Ever wonder what the world would be
if everyone had stayed at home...
you know....like nobody.....ever left to roam

If no one ever tired... of faces ...all he same
played the part of idle piece
in a dormant...winless...game

If no one ever dared to take
Frost's caustic...."Road Not Taken"

Or ever wondered where
the river went....and why

Perhaps if everbody'd stayed
bloomed....where they were planted

Perhaps...maybe...we'll never know
but idle minds.....still wonder

Funny you wrote this today. My family and I were just commenting that the world is rapidly becoming as you described it: Locked down with no room to roam. The air can get pretty stale this way, I can testify. ~ Stay-at-home

lol yes idle minds still wander, and the grass will always look greener on the other side cuz we always imagine it that way. Thank you for sharing this true some projection. Have a blessed Sunday dear John.
