Just One Thank You
Thanksgiving is a time to share,
the gifts of this beautiful season.
To come together and be aware,
that we are fortunate to have reason.
If we each brought to mind, one thing,
that was held within our hearts forever.
Never expecting the joy it would bring.
It would be with us what or wherever.
If we say a simple but heartfelt thank you,
for that blessing and others along the way
And allow our spirit to refresh and renew,
so it can embrace a brand new day.
Maybe we would notice the sun was brighter.
That the sky was clear and ever so blue.
That our hearts felt a little bit lighter.
And all of this, from just one thank you.
