Just How I Am

I’ve been known to flounder like a fish
Stumble and stagger like I am drunk
Turn up my nose at an unfamiliar dish,
Especially when I smelled it, it stunk.
Pour on too much when I needed a tish
Ruining a tasty dish throws me into a funk
Losing opportunity with a frivolous wish
Instead of being adult, acting like a punk.

Undoing and doing up buttons, does not bring out the best in me. My best friend is my new battery tin opener. My long handled picker upper etc, etc. Talk to myself all the time, telling myself what an idiot (Punk) I am. Are we forming a club?,Milt.
