The contest I want to enter is called Just Because, I thought about it and took a pause. Today is a great day just because I can go put flowers in a vase, Listen to music of a legend so great, Play tic-tac-toe with my soul mate. Ponder the mysteries of life, Put high heels on to greet the nightlife, Sway to the rhythm of the music and feel the beat, Or eat a piece of apple pie so divinely sweet. Snuggle with man’s best friend, my furry little puppy, I can sit on a bench and watch people go by, happy-go-lucky. Savouring the moment and seizing the day, Dreaming of destinations so far away. What a wonderful concept this mind can be— We can agree to disagree, Be logical and fight the good fight, Put your thoughts down on paper and write, Just because. We applaud You.
