Just a Little Baby

Once a little baby was born in Bethlehem. The world did not know that He came to save them. He was just a little baby, but He was God’s only Son. They called His name Jesus…He was the promised One. He was just a little baby, but Angels sang at His birth. The shepherds on the hillside heard them singing “Peace on Earth.” “Good will to all men,” they sang on that blessed night. The shepherds left their flocks, and rushed to see this sight. Just a little baby came to Bethlehem that night. His life changed the world. He taught the people right. Love came down to Bethlehem, it was wrapped in swaddling clothes. The Kings followed the star, as the blessed story goes. A precious little baby came down to Bethlehem To seek the lost, and to free the world from sin. A King born in a stable- He came through a lowly birth. His kingdom is forever…One day He will reign on Earth. Just a little baby came down to Bethlehem. But He was a King, and His kingdom has no end. He was just a little baby-He was sent down to Earth To save us from our sins-to give us a new birth.
