Just a Few Drinks, Love

Come on love, “hic" let me in. I promise to be good. I know I had too much to drink, "hic" But you don’t have to fear. This was "hic" the only binge I ‘ve been to. Come on pet, it’s dark And very cold out here, "hic" Can’t even see the keyhole. Be kind to an old man And open that blessed door. I’ll sleep it off on the sofa If that pleases you. "Hic" Why is all quiet? "Hic” Why can’t you help? Do open that door for me! I only had a few Jack Daniels, I never usually drink! Can’t understand "hic" why I can’t see straight. The door opens. A burly man Stands tall at the door. “Mein Freund, what’s all this noise? Oh it’s you, Mein Freund. You’ve got the wrong door. Come in and have a vodka!” He didn’t have to ask twice. "Hic"

THis is SUPER good, Victor . Do this kind more often. (a long time ago I did a similar poem using "hic" in many of the lines!!)

This is too funny! He was on the prowl for some fun times. That brings back memories of a story when I was younger: that one time we had too much snow and nothing else to do but to get a couple of beers at the restaurant right around the corner. However, regrettably, I had taken the wrong side of the highway and gotten lost, but I was glad because the roads were nearly empty, and I could make it home.

lol , that liquor once it warms your blood , it know not the way home, lol, we grew up with alchohol in the house, til this day I'm not a big drinker, and i'm glad, You can go broke with too much drink,:)

Too funny but sometimes it gets out of hand and then it's not so funny anymore. My dad used to go out with the boys one night a week and tie one on. My mom hated it. But Dad was a happy drunk and didn't drive when he drank. However he would make his way to the porch from where his friends dropped him off at home and he would go sideways and feel all over the side of the house giggling because someone stole the door.
