A slice of moon On the darkest June Filling the quiet With twilight’s riot Stardust on black skies Flickering in eyes Reflections of insight In hues of delight Laughing through the night Brilliant and alight With whispers of hope Sent to help hearts cope Faith flies through the dark Enlightening with a spark Of joy that inspires Stirring love that dusk requires Serenity soothes in shadows With feelings we compose Inspirations sent on wings Breathing gratitude that sings Moonlight reflections glow Sending souls below A soothing sense of peace That heaven does release Alive and dancing in the sheen With a tenderness unforeseen Kindness on the nocturnal tide Bringing wonders that will abide Stars and moon caress the soul With calm that does console Bringing out the best of a heart Who believes love is the central part
