Juliane Koepcke Diller

Juliane Koepcke Diller Survived a plane crash that was killer. Struck by lightning, the plane fell from the sky. She landed in the Amazon, the only one who didn't die. 5/19/21 Juliane Koepcke Diller was the sole survivor of the LANSA Flight 508 plane crash in 1971. She fell 3000 meters (9,843 ft.) into the Amazon rain forest still strapped in her seat. She survived for 10 days alone in the rain forest with injuries before being rescued. Hi Kim. I wonder how I'd feel if I was the only one to survive a plane crash AND the ten days in the Rain Forest? Relieved at first of course, but there's also something 'other worldly' about it all too. Thanks for the clerihew and the insight into this fascinating case. Cheers - Gary
