Judge the Poem
A colorful tapestry is every life
Painted in shades of fun and strife.
Every vivid shade of a bright tomorrow
Enhanced in depth by hues of sorrow.
Therefore it is every writer's goal
To explore the depth of mankind's soul.
Writing about the good, the bad or indifferent
Does not define his personal temperament.
To write about politics, abuse and shame
Religion, the crippled or the lame,
Is merely painting with different color hues
And does not always express personal views.
So when we try to answer the why
Of all the things we try, we die, we cry,
Remember that we are gloriously free
It's not imperative that we all agree.
So when you visit this wondrous site
Only read that in which you can delight.
Although I'm sure you already know it
Please judge the poem and not the poet.
