High up in the snow coated trees, Birds flutter happy under winter skies Gray and white colors surround the hill Where the wildlife play regardless of weather Lively, freely, flying around Scurried footprints are left on the ground Imprints in snow from their joyful show Heidi Sands 12/30/21 A 1st placement in the for A Strand (Dec 30) Poetry Contest.

I suppose a permanent fur coat can allow one to really enjoy the cold winters, still I wish I could let them all in to warm up. Enjoyed.

Yes. A squirrel was on my window sill today with severe cold weather here. I think he wanted to come in! I am happy you enjoyed this :)
