Joy, Hope and Kindness

Joy, hope and kindness – let them reign!
Like the proverbial bluebird
of happiness, whose sweet refrain
of joy bursts forth, let it be heard!

With hope we’ll find the bluest sky.
Joy, hope and kindness – let them reign.
Hope is the lovely butterfly
that we see again and again.

Hope cannot be allowed to wane.
With joy’s bluebird, she leads the way.
Joy, hope and kindness – let them reign
and guide us to a brighter day.

Show forth your kindness with love,
so like the Son, you can attain
light like from His heaven above.
Joy, hope and kindness – let them reign!

Proving again, mastery of the form. Bright spirit's contagion. Here it is: "shed abroad on our hearts". Who can resist: Joy's square magnified!

AWESOME quatern, my friend, on three of my favorite poetry topics. "Hope is the lovely butterfly / that we see again and again." - I love that line. Well done, and congrats on your first place win!

Tho' posted as 'Rhyme', methinks Janice is spot on, anyhow, love the rhyming, particularly, the opening stanza. 'Twas a bit unclear for me what Angela was looking for as per scored prize categorized specifically listed the three as being separate and as such, I vied for the gold being joy, nonetheless, enjoyed your piece and here's to hoping the best my friend, Aloha!

Yes, with eyes wide open, the literal post exists, however, the reiteration (doubly so) is indicative of a tri-factor entry but open to a singularity specifying 'uplifting' being the driving force, my thanks, Andrea--you're a true friend indeed, ALOHA!

i will have to recheck that contest, but I am assuming we needed to submit as rhyme? I did check again and did not see her asking us to write about only one of the three traits.

yes, it's quatern. but to enter rhyming contests, we are forced to use title Rhyme for all rhyming forms in order to enter them into the contest because judges set up the entries in a way that all the rhymed forms can't be entered unless you label them as rhyme!! It's weird.

You are a whirlwind Andrea. I don’t know how you keep up entering so many contests and work too. We all need hope right now which has us counting on faith to see us through. A lovely poem about spreading the much needed kindness. Blessings xxoo

Good attributes for one to have in their life. Out of Joy comes the others anyway. Reads like a good contender for the contest. Way to go. Your visit to my page was supportive. Sara
