The requiem becomes a whisper Her greatest fear proven profound The starving lips where poison kissed her Still starve for all she never found In life; a daughter and a sister Now Joy is married to the ground Her sunny childhood had missed her It left no shadow and no sound But as Joy's soul rebelled in fire, In icy earth forever bound Joys coffin quivered in desire To be a part of joy that's higher To resurrect the meaning prior To Joy's first sight through human eyes To prove there's something to admire Within Joy's corpse, which never dies...
