Johnny Boffo

Johnny Boffo was a comic's comic. Johnny, JB to his friends, had the late night crowd in stitches with a variety of one-liners and amusing anecdotes. After his last set he left the Comedy Barn and while crossing the street to his motel room was struck and killed by a speeding cattle truck. They say he died happy; but I kinda of doubt it.

Got to watch for those high-speed cattle trucks my friend. Comics are a gift to this dark world as they make people laugh. And laughter is the best medicine. I enjoyed your poem my friend. God bless.

Hi Robert, thanks for reading. Comics are a gift and for the ones who have moved on, well, there’s always re-runs. John

Thanks for stopping in to read. No one has heard of Johnny, he lives in my head. Gosh, he must be lonely. John

The world is always a little more sombre and dangerous on the loss of a comedian....one less pin to blow up the inflated balloons. Regards, Paul
