Jedi Mind Games
My dismissive smiles,
I use to keep you around me for a while
And my sad, needy groans
has you leaving final goodbyes on the phone
Being cool and uninterested
always draw them closer to me
Acting like I can't survive without them,
make 'em take the car keys and flee quickly
And I love looking at the bright tail lights
of those many yesterday nights
I enjoy playing the mind games ...
Jedi man am I
My penchant for playing Jedi mind tricks,
has me hitting the streets again
Looking for another late-night loving fix,
who will swim in and touch the shark fin
Make a call to girl 6 on the speed dial,
nine minutes later, she's pulling up in style
Foreplay is what I'm after though ...
gotta mess with her mind a little more
Tell her she really ain't my type,
this gets her wanting to stay all night
Jedi mind games ... she don't have a clue
Jedi man am I,
just love playing those head case tricks on you
Soon one day,
I'm bound to meet someone
who loves to play
those Jedi mind games too ... just for fun
Someone who can inject passion,
paralyze my heart ... give me the stun
Someone who loves
playing Jedi mind games too
Someone who'll shoot me with the love gun,
I'm dying to meet you
