Janis
JANIS
Janis; was a rock and roll singer
A real hard times, living swinger
The sex and drugs, took its toll
Before long, that youth was old
But; all her songs still sang out
Her vocals; were never in doubt
Sang with a soul, that is insane
Her vocals she couldn't restrain
Her emotions, so raw and open
She gave it her all, until broken
She died alone; in a hotel room
As from heroin she did exhume
Janis; was a rock and roll singer
A real hard times, living swinger
