Ivy Overtakes Columbus Hall

Ivy has overtaken Columbus Hall The classrooms on the east side are in shadows No one can peek out or see the sky from those classrooms for the windows have been long nailed shut It is not like there was warning It happened sneakily and stealthily In between exams at the end of summer and the sunshine of August's new freshman exuberance Ivy has overtaken Columbus Hall Since greens of this caliber are on the endangered species list What can be done and who is willing to risk jail time?

Thank you Bernard. I saw ivy taking over an old brick hall, and I said "I need to write about her," so of course I did.

I love ivy but I chopped it up all morning. It leaps me and binds me as I chop.

Ivy is one of those plants I have a love hate relationship with. It can certainly take over where ever it grows. Have a great day my friend.

It is amazing how fast it grows around all of my plants, trying to strangle them like the snake it is.

Ivy covered walls....if you give it a place to climb it will climb. It covers our meadow and climbs our oaks.....but is pretty for a pest. LOL SuZ
