a pair of blue **** inspecting new nesting box spring is in the air I know haiku don't have titles... but I couldn't resist! My nesting box was made by students at the school I worked at - it has been in situ since 2016 but this is the first year birds are making it their home. I watched the pair inspecting the box on Sunday, the male spent ages pecking round the entrance to make it smooth ... today they are nest building in it 4/19/18

I do hope they raise a couple of chicks its such fun watching from the kitchen window and seeing the parents fly in and out of the box with tasty treats for the youngsters. It's been a couple of years since we had any birds in the old box and that got so weather beaten I doubt it will be used again but the new one now has occupants and I'm so excited:-) hugs jan xx

I agree with you about the titles they can really pull the reader in ... just calling them all 'haiku' may be technically correct but it is sooooooooooo boring and you know me I like to bring a little fun to the site. Hope your week gets better:-) hugs jan x
