It's Not My Fault

It’s not my fault I fell for you, My weakness did me in; I won’t admit out loud it’s true, Cause loving you is a sin; We both know I’m not to blame, You slipped in and caught me off guard; My love for you I’ll never proclaim, I didn’t know it would be this hard; You have no proof that you’re the one, That haunts my mind day and night; I’m about ready to turn tail and run, Cause I’m not prepared to fight; And when I leave I will show no shame, You never loved me like I love you; Cause your love for me wasn’t the same, And it’s time that I said we’re through. ~For Paula's Four Sentences contest~

Hi Adeleke-I actually just kinda went with this one! It was based on several horrible relationships I've had in the past!~Tirzah~
