It's All Been Said Before
I want to tell you how I love you
of how love will endure
but, of course
It’s all been said before
That for anything that ails me
your simple touch is but the cure
Oh, then again,
It’s all been said before
Perhaps, the gesture of a gift
is what I’m looking for
I’ll just get your credit card
and head on out the door
