John I'd love to steal your work
But I’d look a complete berk
We know stealing is wrong
Unless you come from Ding Dong
some need to do their homework!

I'm really horrified that this is still going on especially with Anne Lise and PD. These two poets I greatly admire. Now I'm going to have to go and read John Wulf's poem. Sorry to say Eve has left Poetry Soup for good this time and will not be coming back. She now belongs to a Canadian Christian poetry site. Can't say I really blame her. She's actually writing her fourth book now and hoping to have it done by Christmas or New Years of next year. Enjoyed this limerick of yours Jan. Will be back later. In high school this girl stole my notebook and turned in my poem for English Literature class! I was so mad. Poor Anne Lise had her haiku posted on soup verbatim - such a shame TPS has not dealt with the complaints and closed the account of the perpertrator:-( hugs Jan xx
