this, a story in verse
I was born destined to be a poet
so I just went with the flow of
it is to be
the direction beyond my control
and I accepted it
there were times I looked into voids
but writing was my necessity
I just let go to the fact of
it is to be
was powerless to stop
it became like breathing to me
everywhere I look is a poem
in bird songs, the forest, the streams
in beautiful moments of
it is to be
I have accepted this challenge
God has blessed me with
and should my poetry linger
beyond my death
well, that is the question of
it is to be
I have no expectations
beyond writing my next poem
