It Happened On a Misty Morning
*"Wettened by the mornings dew
Closely spaced where rows of roses grew
Footprints stained the cobblestone
Where my love and I had walked, alone"
Hand in hand, we strolled along.
In my mind I heard a lilting song -
the joyful tune of knowing
such love as ours was overflowing.
