Isa

(Isa was an ESL student of mine from a small island country off Africa. The students were learning about limericks, and I wrote this one for Isa, because she really did love junk food!) A lover of junk food, sweet Isa was happy when she got her Visa. For with it in hand, she left for the land of burgers and french fries and pizza! (featured but never in a contest)

This made me smile, too :) but yup, have to agree with Sara, hopefully she didn't eat too much of it :) and also, hopefully that the States has lived up to all of her dreams about it :) Thanks for this amusing limerick--now I want a whopper! ;) Thanks for your inspiring comments, it really means a lot ^_^

The occasional treat of junk food is great but too much is not great for our health. I hope that Isa with her Visa didn't consume too much too cause her grief ..weight or financial wise. Keep the creative pen flowing. Thanks for the comments on my poem "Another Use For Duct Tape". This is a true event in my life. I can still see the young men's faces when they thought that it was funny and that he would think that something was wrong with the car but when he just went onto the road change. S
