Is Love Blind

She laid in bed that night, in thoughts so fond and deep preventing her from sleep; They once made him smile bright: No more now - seems her plight and gloomy thoughts do creep... His words when they met last still echoed in her mind... "Do you think love is blind?" Fake words left her aghast, His love - a thing of past that he left her behind! Anitha, your poem made me think of this. There is a song I know. It's chorus reads like this...."I don't believe in destiny, or the guiding hand of fate, I don't believe in forever or love as a mystical state, I don't believe in the stars or the planets or angels watching from above, but I believe there's a ghost of a chance we can find someone to love...and make it last.

Oh, you did my form SO well, Anitha!! It's not an easy form at all and I still have not even tried it for this contest. I better pick up some speed, but tonight I have to sub some Zoom classes and my whole night will be taken up with teaching. Thanks for trying the Hexsonneta. I hope you do well in the contest!
